화면해설방송이 시각장애인의 드라마 시청만족도와 내용 이해에 미치는 효과

초록

This study aimed at identifying the effect of audio-explained broadcasting on acquisition and understanding of information by and the levels of satisfaction and interest of the visually impaired persons when they were exposed to the audio-explained broadcasting. Total of 144 visually impaired persons and 71 non-impaired persons participated in this experiment. An 11-minute long drama composed of parts where the audio-explanation was not provided, partially provided and entirely provided was used as the test material. The visually impaired participants were randomly assigned to one of the three experimental groups. The visually non-impaired participants were assigned to the last experimental group, and exposed to experimental drama without descriptive video service. The results showed that the more audioexplanation was provided, the higher degrees of acquisition and understanding of information and levels of satisfaction and interest by the visually impaired persons were.
