투명성이 원자력발전소 운영기관에 대한 신뢰를 매개로 정책수용성에 미치는 영향

초록

It is believed that a nuclear power plant operating company has a direct influence on the perceptions of local residents concerning nuclear policy. Trust in the company, therefore, determines local residents' policy acceptance. This study investigated the effect of transparency on policy acceptance mediated by trust in the nuclear power plant operating company. For this, a structural equation model(SEM) explaining the causal relationships among transparency, trust, and policy acceptance was tested. The data was collected through a survey of residents in Kori and Ulzin nuclear power plant sites. The results indicated that transparency had a positive effect on trust and trust had a positive effect on policy acceptance. The policy implications of the results were also discussed.
