초록

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to consider the changing environments andrequirements of food market carefully, and to explore the relationship betweenICT-enabled logistics innovation and competitiveness of global food supply chain. Research design, data, methodology : Literature survey and a case study areemployed to analyze competitiveness of global food supply chain enabled by ICT asresearch methodology. Results : This study finds that the ICT-enabled logistics innovation has played a vitalrole in meeting consumer demands as well as increasing competitiveness of global foodsupply chain. Conclusions : An organization involved in food industry should give a strategicconsideration to attract employees’ active participation in adopting ICT-based solutionssuch as RFID technology.
