서울 및 경기 지역의 어린이 대상 박물관 전시 콘텐츠 분석

초록
The purpose of this study was to analyze the exhibition contents of children’s museums in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and identify the characteristics, and to derive problems and improvement methods in terms of early childhood education. The subjects of this study are five national and public museums exhibiting contents for children in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do in July 2022, and the study period is from July to September 2022. The researchers classified contents displayed in the museum by element related to the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum, science process skill, and viewing method after taking a picture, and the results are as follows. First, in the classification by element related to the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum, nature exploration accounted for the largest proportion, followed by physical activities and health, social relationships, art experiences, and communication. Second, observation was most used in the classification by science process skill, followed by prediction, classification, and measurement. Third, observation type was the most common in the classification by viewing method, followed by explanation type, simple operation type, experience and exploration type, role-play type, and sensor recognition type. Therefore, this study analyzed the exhibition contents of museums for children by selecting classification criteria from an early childhood education perspective. These findings are expected to be used as basic data to analyze the exhibition contents of museums for children in the future.
