남자간호사가 경험하는 역할기대에 대한 인식유형

초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the role expectations types of male nurses who have experienced nursing practice environment and to provide basic data for manpower management which can be used to enhance understanding and adaptability of male nurse in nursing organization. Method: Q methodology was used that is suitable for studies. The Q sample consisted of a review of literature related to image types of male nurses and interviews with male nurses who clinical experience. Analysis was done by a QUANL PC program that implement principal component analysis to derive the relevant type. Result: In this study, four types of occupational image experienced by male nurses in nursing organization culture were analyzed. such as “Superior atypical type”, “Role Change Expectation type”, “Realistic Adaptive type” and “Positive Coping type”. Conculsion: The purpose of this study is to construct a concept by analyzing the details of the male nurse ‘s self - awareness based on the clinical experiences. and to contribute to help maintain male nurse position in clinical culture while maintaining desirable adaptive attitude in nursing organizational culture.
