도심지에 대한 경제적 의존도가 도시 내 지역 간 경제적 격차에 미치는 영향: 서울 3도심과 자치구들간의 관계를 중심으로

초록

The purpose of this study is to find out, first, what impacts economic dependency of districts in Seoul on city center areas did on regional economic disparities, and second, how these impact have changed over time and by areas (old city center and new city centers). For this analyses, this study employs living standards (income and consumption) and fiscal capacity as dependent variables, economic dependency measured by commuting ratio as an independent variable, and various economic growth factors based on indigenous growth theory and neoclassical growth theory. The results show that economic dependency on old city center did not have statistically significant influence on regional disparity, while economic dependency on new city centers did have very strong influence on regional disparity and its influence has been increased. These results imply that transforming to multi city center system in Seoul does not benefit to the balanced growth among districts, rather it could worsen regional economic disparities among districts.
