초록

Steal syndrome is a complication that can occur after the creation of a vascular access for hemodialysis. It is characterized by ischemia of the hand that can be caused by reduction or reversal of distal arterial flow. MILLER banding procedure is known to be a safe and effective treatment for steal syndrome. However, access patency after MILLER banding is reported differently in each literature. In this case, we will report a case in which a patient with steal syndrome had problems with access patency after performing MILLER banding procedure, however, successfully maintained access patency with an additional balloon angioplasty.
