데페이즈망 기법 범주화에 따른 현대 메이크업 디자인 연구

초록

This study aims to understand the artistic expression methods of makeup design in fashion collections from the perspective of Dépaysement techniques. The objectives of this research are, first, to establish the definition and types of expression of Dépaysement as an art form; second, to analyze makeup design cases from the 2024 Paris Fashion Collection and categorize the types of Dépaysement techniques in makeup design; and third, to elucidate the characteristics of makeup design in terms of form, color, and texture, based on their connection with the artistic mood of the collections, thereby exploring the aesthetic significance created by makeup in depth. The results of this study indicate that the formative aspects of fashion collection makeup design can be understood through techniques involving form, color, and texture. From the perspective of Dépaysement techniques, the makeup designs in fashion collections exhibit characteristics of form alteration and exaggeration, creative image creation, reconstruction of aesthetic form, and the absence of form. First, form alteration and exaggeration transform facial forms or elements in an unconventional way, creating unique visual effects. Creative image creation combines different forms, colors, and textures through the use of makeup materials to generate new imagery. Additionally, the reconstruction of aesthetic form employs heterogeneous objects to deliberately reshape facial aesthetic forms, thereby expanding the boundaries of design. The absence of form contributes to crafting unfamiliar visual experiences through the intentional omission of facial shapes and elements. In this way, research on contemporary makeup design from the perspective of Dépaysement techniques holds significant value, offering potential and direction for new artistic expressions beyond mere aesthetic presentation.
