초록

The Qin(秦) Dynasty, the first unified kingdom of China, despite of the wishes of the emperor Shi Huang was destroyed in 15 years. In this paper, I will Carry out a comparative analysis on GuoQinLun(过秦论) and Afanggong Fu(阿房宫赋). These two works have a common lesson that we should mirror past history and both works used contrasting techniques. Due to the difference between genre and era, they have a difference focus. In these two works, the cause of Qin Dynasty’s short life is distinguishes between violence and luxury.
