갈등 연구에서 프레임 분석의 적용가능성: 문헌연구를 중심으로

초록

Policy disputes can be seen as frame conflicts. Parties in a conflict create frames to help them understand why the conflict exists, what actions are important to the conflict, and how they should act in response. Thus, analyzing the frames people use in a given policy conflict provides better understanding of the conflict dynamics and development, thereby providing a basis for the management of policy conflicts. This paper examined the applicability of frame analysis in the field of policy conflict research through literature review. For this, it reviewed all the conflict studies that applied frame approaches published in Korea. Based on the results, we tackled several important issues related to the application of frame analysis in the study of public conflict.
