複合動詞のコロケーションに関する実証的分析 - ｢受け入れる｣と｢受け止める｣を事例に -

In order to make research or education on Japanese compound verbs fruitful, it is necessary to analyze collocation and context. However, in the previous studies on compound verbs, there is an aspect in which the analysis of collocation and context has not been sufficiently performed. In this paper, the meaning and usage of compound verbs in a synonym relationship were analyzed using corpus. Specifically, I focused on the collocation of ｢受け入れる｣ and ｢受け止める｣, which represent the meaning of acceptance, and examined their meaning and usage. As a result of the analysis, the following contents were found. (1)｢～を受け入れる｣had a relatively strong collocation relationship with a person-related noun, and ｢～を受け止める｣ had a relatively strong collocation relationship with a noun recognized as a task or problem. (2) When ｢～を受け入れる｣ and ｢～を受け止める｣ were used with nouns indicating content or situation, they showed similar collocation intensity. (3)｢受け入れる｣ had a relatively strong collocation relationship with an adverb indicating difficulty or ease of acceptance, and ｢受け止める｣h ad a relatively strong collocation relationship with an adverb indicating a serious attitude or correct action. (4)｢受け入れる｣ had a relatively strong relationship with the verb related to the judgment of acceptance. (5) Among the nouns that ｢受け入れる｣ modifies, it was the noun representing the foundation that had a relatively strong collocation relationship. (6) The PMW of ｢受け入れる｣ was relatively high in the white paper, and the PMW of ｢受け止める｣ was relatively high in the minutes of the National Assembly.
