포스트휴먼 담론과 새로운 인간상의 형성
초록
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the human images that arise in discussions surrounding posthumanism. Posthuman scholars' research involves artificial intelligence managing, controlling, and potentially annihilating humans in the future. However, what humans should be concerned about is the loss of their “humanity”, meaning the inability to choose their own work. Next, the paper explores the concept of engineered humans. Humanities and arts take a different approach from science in creating a human image. In the field of humanities and arts, they justify the manipulated body but question the ideal modern human image with balance and proportion. Conversely, science presents an image of humans with engineered bodies through genetic technology, augmented humans, cyborgs, and other means. The paper delves into the conceptualization of the body using Latour's experienced body and Haraway's denaturalized body as frameworks. These concepts strongly influence societal perceptions of the body. However, they can lead to the alienation of the real body and idealization of the body as a simulacrum. As the alienation of the biological body intensifies, theories emerge that deny the identity that humans have through their bodies. As science and technology continue to advance, the design of a new human image becomes bolder, raising significant ethical and philosophical questions about the future of humanity.
