중학교 음악수업을 위한 북한음악 선호도 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to measure the preference and response of the 7th graders in South Korea (n = 194) on North Korean music in order to adapt the North Korean music in school music curriculum more effectively. The results of this study were as follows. First, the preference of the 7th graders for North Korea music was found to be higher when their attitudes toward Korean unification were positive. Secondly, the 7th graders showed the highest preference on instrumental music followed by Life Gayo, New Folk Songs, and Enlightenment Songs respectably. Thirdly, from the qualitative responses to North Korean music preferences, familiarity of music was the main reason to exhibit higher preference on the instrumental music and Life Gayo. Lastly, New Folk Songs and Enlightenment Songs had lower preference and many negative responses because 7th graders did not feel comfortable on unique vocal techniques of North Korean music and sociocultural divergence on the lyrics of the music.
