장편서사시 『白頭山』의 창작토대

초록

The purpose of this study is to clarify the creative foundation of『Baekdusan』as Jo Gi-cheon's long epic poetry, which is evaluated as a work of showing the canon of anti-Japanese revolution literature in North Korean literature. Jo Gi-Cheon's literary activity, the particularity of the Soviet Korean literary circles which depicted legendary heros of the anti-Japanese rev- olution and the influences of Soviet literature had a great influence on the creative foundation of『Baekdusan』. In addition, 『Hong Beom-do』 , which embodies the legendary hero of anti-Japanese revolution has a strong re- semblance to 『Baekdusan』in many aspects. Epic or long epic poetry poem which was popular and prevalent during the days when Jo Gi-Cheon developed literary activity in the Soviet Union, and ‘Poema' in combination with Mayakovsky's poetry exerted an influence on the creative foundation of『Baekdusan』. In Spite of an undeniable fact that the style of Mayakovsky's poetry and prosody affected the creative foundation of 『Baekdusan』, 『Baekdusan』was to be recreated in national formation with Jo Gi-Cheon independently accepting and modifying Mayakovsky's poetry.
