초록

We demonstrate an improved photoresponse of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) functionalized with tin oxide (SnO2) and present its application to flexible and transparent photodetector Under illumination by visible light, SnO2-functionalized MoS2 induces the transfer of photo-generated electrons from MoS2 to SnO2 preventing the recombination of photo-excited electron-hole pairs. This photo-induced carrier separation process leads to p-type doping of MoS2, resulting in an increase of current. Accordingly, SnO2-functionalized MoS2 exhibited dramatically improved photoresponse (480%) compared to pristine MoS2. The photodetector fabricated on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate also exhibited high flexibility and transparency, which is advantageous for various applications such as electronic eyes, wearable sensors, and other optoelectronics.
