대학생의 주도적 경력행동을 통한 학습 경험과 직업정체성 형성에 관한 연구 : 비교과 프로그램을 중심으로

A Study on Undergraduate Students’ Occupational Identity and Learning Experiences Through Proactive Career Behaviors

초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the learning experiences in extracurricular programs that are expected to reveal undergraduate students' proactive career behaviors and their identity as a future worker. To this end, the in-depth interviews were conducted with undergraduate students who have participated in various extracurricular programs. The results confirmed that an extracurricular program is a significant learning area that clearly shows proactive career behaviors. The participants were conducting career planning and exploration, skill development, and networking in various extracurricular programs. They were also forming occupational identity through the learning experiences that reflected proactive career behaviors. They realized the intrinsic meaning of the professionalism required in their career f ield. Weak t ies of networking with employees in extracurricular programs offered confidence and new career paths to the participants. Through the experiences in extracurricular programs, the participants realized collaboration and communication are important competencies which is essential for professional workers. They tried to change themselves to be good future workers. Based on the results, the study suggests some implications for extracurricular programs and university education.
