모바일 기반에서 유비쿼터스 기반 영어 학습으로

초록

The purpose of this research is to review and analyze articles on mobile-assisted language learning in the journals published in Korea and in the world. A total of 44 articles are collected and analyzed in terms of topics, mobile devices, and research methods. The results of this study shows that the major topic for articles both in Korea and worldwide is teaching vocabulary. The mobile devices that are most frequently used in the articles in Korea and worldwide are mobile phones. The comparative analysis reveals that articles in Korea employ more development research method than worldwide and the most frequently used research method in worldwide articles is developing mobile-based language tasks and then studying students' reactions. Recommendations for future research are offered.
