초록
This study aimed to extract the components of prompts based on the patterns of university students’ ChatGPT prompt composition. The goal was to suggest a direction for prompt education by examining specific technical understanding and utilization patterns. To coexist effectively with the rapidly evolving ChatGPT, it is essential to go beyond mastering specific manuals to implement new modes of communication. This can be achieved by establishing a flexible and three-dimensional criterion for composing prompts. Three layers are required for ChatGPT prompting: firstly, ‘understanding of technology,’ secondly, ‘strategies and utilization of technology for problem-solving,’ and thirdly, an ‘attitude towards technology’ for setting appropriate roles for human and AI actors and interacting accordingly. These three layers, serving as the fundamental components of the prompt, were interconnected in three dimensions during prompting, a processed coined ‘Prompt Design.’ Prompt Design is a concept that actively connects design (engineering) and interaction (conversation) technologies, emphasizing human-initiated interaction to produce creative results during prompt execution. This study presented the basic components necessary for the rapidly evolving education of generative AI. It also proposes a direction for understanding the relationship between technology and humans more deeply, facilitating the utilization of technology.
